- The London 1884 hallmarked 18 carat full hunter case has minor dents on the front cover, but is otherwise in excellent condition.
- The 15 jewel gilt English lever fusee movement with centre seconds, compensated balance with gold screws, stop lever (stops the whole watch) linked to the slide in the case band. It is engraved with the name Histler, 15 Fore Street, Redruth. Key winding and setting from the back.
- The centre sunk dial in white enamel is marked in 1/5 second on the outer ring and has the serial number 8/4888, matching that on the movement. Gold hands, steel seconds hand.
