IT525 Oak 8 day longcase clock by Robert Evens, Halstead

Circa 1750

 

 

 

 

An 8-day brass dial Longcase clock from an Essex maker. The brass dial has a silvered chapter ring, signed cartouche, seconds dial and date indicator.

The oak case with pagoda top stands an imposing 90 inches tall and is in excellent condition (the base has been restored).

It has its original brass finials, not shown in the photographs.

The movement will be fully overhauled and guaranteed.
