A superb large mahogany bracket clock with engraved double fusee movement. 500mm high x 340mm wide. The finely made mahogany case is inlaid with brass, and has gilt brass lion handles and ball feet.. The domed glass is held by a solid cast brass bezel. The painted dial carries the maker's name - M. Clayton, Manchester. Please note damage to the turned wooden fret on the left side, minor damage to the case top and a fine crack down the centre front. The clock is fully overhauled and guaranteed to be in good working order.
